An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students with mild to moderate learning needs in Denver, CO. This contract role spans the full school year and involves managing a caseload of approximately 30 students. As a Learning Specialist, the teacher will focus on enhancing students academic achievement and developing key learning skills by designing and implementing individualized strategies tailored to each students unique needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop, write, and implement effective Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with related services staff. Provide targeted instruction and support to improve academic performance. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Collaborate with educators, families, and service providers to ensure comprehensive support. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Colorado Department of Education standards. Qualifications: Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Education Generalist License. Experience working with K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities. Proficient in IEP development and collaborative teamwork. Strong communication and organizational skills. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
