Special Education Teacher - Denver, CO

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Moderate/Severe Special Education (SPED) Teacher to serve students in grades PreK through 6th grade for the 20252026 school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with significant support needs and will be responsible for delivering individualized education in a structured classroom setting. Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with moderate to severe disabilities in alignment with IEP goals. Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Collect data and monitor student progress toward academic, functional, and behavioral goals. Adapt curriculum and modify instructional materials to meet diverse student needs. Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other support staff to maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Maintain open communication with families and related service providers. Caseload & Classroom Support:
Caseload Size: 10 students Support Staff: 2 full-time paraprofessionals Medical Support: Available as needed in the classroom Requirements:
Valid California CDE credential authorizing instruction for students with moderate/severe disabilities Prior experience with PreK6th grade population preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and support staff Schedule and Location:
This position requires a commitment of 40hours per week Employment is for the duration of the school year, following the academic calendar(August 5, 2025 - May 29, 2026) Work will be based on-sitein Denver, CO
