A Special Education Teacher position is available at an elementary school in Bensenville, IL, for the upcoming school year. This is a contract role focused on supporting students with diverse learning needs to help them achieve their educational goals in an inclusive and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students specific learning and developmental needs Provide direct instruction and interventions to students with disabilities in alignment with state standards Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure appropriate accommodations and supports Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting as required Maintain a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and growth for all students Qualifications and Experience: Valid teaching certification in Special Education Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to special education (IEP, IDEA compliance) Ability to use effective classroom management techniques and differentiated instructional strategies Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families Location: Bensenville, Illinois This contract opportunity spans the full next school year, offering a rewarding experience for educators passionate about making a difference in young learners lives.
