We are seeking a dedicated, certified VPK Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to fostering a nurturing, engaging learning environment.

Position Summary:
The VPK Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Floridas VPK Standards, supporting each childs growth in all developmental areas, and maintaining compliance with state requirements.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that meet VPK learning standards and individual student needs

  • Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and progress monitoring records as required by the Florida VPK program

  • Use Creative Curriculum (or similar) to create meaningful learning experiences in literacy, math, science, social studies, and social-emotional development

  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a collaborative learning community

  • Conduct ongoing assessment using approved VPK tools and share progress with parents

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning

  • Participate in professional development and training to maintain VPK certification and enhance teaching skills

Qualifications:


  • Florida VPK Instructor Credential (required)

  • High School Diploma and CDA, or Associates/Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (per state requirements)

  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a preschool or VPK setting (preferred)

  • Knowledge of Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for 4-Year-Olds

  • Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching
