Full-Time Substitute Teacher
Hyde Park Day School - Northfield Campus

Hyde Park Day School (HPDS) - Northfield Campus is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Substitute Teacher to join our team.

At HPDS, we serve bright students in grades 1-8 with learning disabilities, providing an individualized, strengths-based education in a supportive and nurturing environment. We are looking for a substitute who is not only capable of maintaining continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular teacher but who also aligns with our mission to help students build confidence, resilience, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver instructional plans as provided by the regular classroom teacher

  • Maintain a structured, positive classroom environment conducive to learning

  • Supervise students and ensure their safety and well-being

  • Uphold school rules, administrative regulations, and policies

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with school staff and administration

  • Maintain order and consistency throughout the school day

Schedule

This is an on-site position, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Experience working with students with learning disabilities preferred

  • Ability to build rapport with students and staff

  • Flexible, dependable, and committed to supporting student success
