We are actively seeking qualified substitute teachers who are eager to deepen their understanding of gifted education or bring experience from a gifted program. Current certification is preferred, but passionate individuals committed to student success are encouraged to apply.

As a substitute teacher at SAA, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons aligned with curriculum objectives, creating a seamless and enriching learning experience.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and minimizes distractions.
Communicate insights on student progress to the lead teacher effectively.
Supervise students kindly and confidently in various settings, including hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias.

Qualifications include:
Bachelors or Masters degree, ideally in education or a related field.
A genuine interest in working with gifted students or experience in a gifted setting.
Prior substitute teaching experience is advantageous.
Teaching credentials are highly valued.
Successfully completed background check.
