An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support to elementary students in grades K-4. This full-time position involves managing a resource/inclusion classroom with approximately 10 students, focusing on individualized education and fostering a supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of students in grades K-4 within a resource/inclusion model Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and specialists Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to promote academic and social growth Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by educational standards and regulations Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate inclusive classroom experiences Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills Qualifications and Experience: Valid Special Education teaching certification Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in K-4 grades Knowledge of special education laws, practices, and instructional strategies Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in both resource and inclusion classroom settings Location: Batesville, Mississippi Assignment Type: Full-Time, Contract for the New School Year This role supports students' individual learning needs through a resource and inclusion classroom framework, ensuring meaningful educational experiences.
