Duties

We provide our teachers with a curriculum that is easy to navigate and implement! Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching. Assist in group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth. Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences. Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met. Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children. Maintain accurate records, forms and files. Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Supports Lead Teacher in daily operations of the classroom and in lesson plans Reports to the owner and managing staff directly Quarterly meetings with staff

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED At least 6 months of experience teaching in a state-licensed early childhood education facility Enjoy working with children Fun and nurturing personality Desire to learn and grow in the field of early childhood education Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to obtain upon hire Must be able to pass a background check, health screening and TB test Attend staff meetings and training Must be available to work 4-8 hour work shifts Monday - Friday
