Duties
Lead teacher duties:
Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards. We provide our teachers with a curriculum that is easy to navigate and implement! Lead by example; encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching. Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive and emotional growth. Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences. Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met. Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children. Supervise teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene and safety standards. Maintain accurate records, forms and files. Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement. Reports to the facility Director directly Quarterly meetings with staff
Assistant Teachers duties:

Requirements
Lead teacher requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year of experience teaching in a state-licensed early childhood education facility Enjoy working with children Fun and nurturing personality Desire to learn and grow in the field of early childhood education Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to obtain upon hire Must be able to pass a background check, health screening and TB test Attend staff meetings and training Must be available to work 8 hour work shifts Monday - Friday
Assistant Teachers requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED At least 6 months of experience teaching in a state-licensed early childhood education facility Enjoy working with children Fun and nurturing personality Desire to learn and grow in the field of early childhood education Pediatric CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to obtain upon hire Must be able to pass a background check, health screening and TB test Attend staff meetings and training Must be available to work 8 hour work shifts Monday - Friday
