About the Role:

A tuition-free public charter school in Dearborn is seeking a passionate and qualified High School Science Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. This position offers an opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of students by fostering a love for science through engaging instruction and hands-on learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach high school science courses, including general science and potentially Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Plan and deliver lessons aligned with state standards and curriculum goals
Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Assess student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback
Collaborate with staff and administration to support academic and behavioral success
Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science or Science Education (Master's preferred)
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate Science endorsement(s) or willingness to obtain certification
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Commitment to high expectations, equity, and student growth
Prior teaching experience preferred, especially in urban or charter settings
