Phaxis Education is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for an elementary school caseload in Beach Park, Illinois. This school-based position offers the chance to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and supportive environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Position Type: Full-time, contract (with renewal potential)

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Caseload: Elementary (Grades K5)

Setting: Onsite in a public school

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver instruction based on IEP goals
  • Modify curriculum and teaching methods to support individual learning needs
  • Support positive behavior strategies and classroom management
  • Collaborate with teachers, service providers, and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with IDEA and state regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
  • Active or pending Illinois teaching license with LBS1 endorsement
  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
