Summary

Faith's Little Friends Daycare is looking for a caring, kind, and dedicated teacher to join our childcare staff. You will have an opportunity to work with children ages 6 weeks-12 years old on social emotional develop, critical thinking skills, language acquisition, and so much more. This position would be primarily with 2 and 3 year olds, with hours either 7-3:30 or 9-5:30. While experience is a plus, we are also willing to train you if you have passion for working with little ones but lack experience.

Duties

Create and plan lessons and activities Supervises children in the classroom Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to grow and thrive in. Provide written and verbal communication to parents and other staff. Complete annual training and continuing education. Clean and organize classroom

Requirements

Minimum state required classes, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, associate degree in early childhood education, CDA, or a relevant field. We will train the right person. Infant CPR, or be willing to obtain Able to build respectful relationships with children, families, and co-workers Willingness to lead a small group of children and maintain an organized classroom Ability to create a safe, warm environment for the children Positive attitude Ability to lift and hold children up to 30 pounds Ability to stand, sit, and walk on various surfaces inside and outside.
