Summary

Faith's Little Friends Daycare is looking for caring, kind, supportive individuals to supplement our current staff. This is a part-time position, with hours mostly between noon and 5:30 pm Monday-Friday. You will have an opportunity to work with children ages 6 weeks-12 years old on social emotional develop, critical thinking skills, language acquisition, and so much more. At least 15 hours a week guaranteed, with the option for more hours when regular staff take PTO. While daycare experience is a plus, we are willing to train if you are passionate about working with children but lack experience.

Duties

Supervises children in the classroom Provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children to grow and thrive in. Provide written and verbal communication to parents and other staff. Clean and organize classroom

Requirements

Minimum state required classes, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire, associate degree in early childhood education, CDA, or a relevant field. We will train the right person. Infant CPR, or be willing to obtain Able to build respectful relationships with children, families, and co-workers Willingness to lead a small group of children and maintain an organized classroom Ability to create a safe, warm environment for the children Positive attitude Ability to lift and hold students Ability to stand, sit, and walk on various surfaces inside and outside, as well as the ability to lift and hold a child up to 30 pounds.
