POSITION: Spanish World Language Teacher - Middle School

COMPENSATION: Pays up to $50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Spanish language instruction to middle school students, fostering language proficiency and cultural understanding.
• Cultivate a supportive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and effective language acquisition.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate project-based learning, progressive teaching methods, and innovative pedagogical approaches into the curriculum.
• Empower students to develop proficiency in both spoken and written Spanish, encouraging them to become bilingual and bi-literate.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in both spoken and written Spanish is essential.
• Knowledge of educational philosophies, including constructivism, Montessori, Reggio Emilia, as well as experience with reading and writing workshops, is considered an asset.
• While possession of proper teaching certification is preferred, we are committed to supporting the certification process for the right candidate who shares our educational vision.
