Summary

A VPK Lead Teacher in Florida isresponsible for implementing the state's Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) curriculum, managing a classroom of 4-year-olds, and preparing them for kindergarten.This involves creating a nurturing, safe learning environment, planning and leading activities, and communicating with families about their child's progress.The teacher also collaborates with other staff, including assistant teachers, and ensures adherence to all relevant policies and regulations.

Duties

Curriculum Implementation: Lead classroom activities, implementing lessons, and ensuring alignment with Florida's VPK standards.

Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment, managing student behavior, and establishing routines.

Child Development: Observe and assess children's progress, identifying individual needs, and communicating with families.

Communication: Build positive relationships with families, providing regular updates on student progress, and participating in parent-teacher conferences.
