Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and committed High School Science Teacher who can effectively integrate a biblical worldview with scientific instruction. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge in the sciences, a love for teaching, and the ability to guide students in exploring the wonders of God's creation through a scientific lens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach science courses (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) for high school students.
  • Integrate a biblical perspective with the scientific curriculum, helping students see the connection between faith and science.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a biblical understanding of science.
  • Maintain a safe and engaging laboratory space for hands-on experiments and demonstrations.
  • Assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, and projects, offering constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the overall academic experience and school culture.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance for students, helping them see science as a way to understand and appreciate God’s creation.
  • Encourage students to explore careers in science from a Christian perspective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience teaching science at the high school level.
  • Strong understanding of integrating faith with science and a commitment to a biblical worldview.
  • Ability to foster a love for science and discovery among students.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Active, authentic faith in Christ and involvement in a church community.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students.
