Agape Montessori School in Olathe, Kansas is currently accepting applicants for a lead one-year-old teacher. Applicants must have one-year-old teaching experience and a solid foundation of Montessori philosophy. Obtaining a Montessori certification is a requirement for this positions. The certification is provided by Agape. The candidate hired for this role will be provided extensive onboarding support by a Montessori certified teacher.

Lead Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:


  • Implement a Montessori prepared environment.
  • Maintaining safety protocols.
  • Maintaining schedules and routines.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
  • Maintain the health and safety of all students.
  • Maintain a clean environment for children and teachers. This will require light housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Assist children in developing self-care habits.
  • Monitor and track children's progress in achieving developmental milestones and mastery of Montessori lessons.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:


  • Montessori experience in an toddler environment.
  • Montessori Infant/Toddler Certification. Applicants who do not already possess a certification must be willing and capable of obtaining one.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • KDHE qualifications.
  • Exemplary work ethic.
  • Excellent multitasking ability.
  • Team player mentality is a must!
