Agape Montessori School in Olathe, Kansas is currently accepting applicants for a lead one-year-old teacher.  Applicants must have one-year-old teaching experience and a solid foundation of Montessori philosophy. Obtaining a Montessori certification is a requirement for this positions. The certification is provided by Agape. The candidate hired for this role will be provided extensive onboarding support by a Montessori certified teacher.

Lead Toddler Teacher Responsibilities:
Implement a Montessori prepared environment.
Maintaining safety protocols.
Maintaining schedules and routines.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
Maintain the health and safety of all students.
Maintain a clean environment for children and teachers. This will require light housekeeping responsibilities.
Assist children in developing self-care habits.
Monitor and track children's progress in achieving developmental milestones and mastery of Montessori lessons.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Montessori experience in an toddler environment.
Montessori Infant/Toddler Certification. Applicants who do not already possess a certification must be willing and capable of obtaining one.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
KDHE qualifications.
Exemplary work ethic.
Excellent multitasking ability.
Team player mentality is a must!
