Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality care and early childhood education to toddlers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infant/toddler development, a nurturing approach, and a commitment to fostering a safe and supportive environment for young children. As a Toddler Teacher, you will work closely with parents and colleagues to create a stimulating and caring environment that promotes the growth and well-being of each child.

Duties

  • Care for and supervise infants/toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Create and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate sensory, cognitive, and motor development.
  • Observe and track each child's development, noting milestones and potential areas for growth.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social interaction, language development, and emotional well-being.
  • Provide nurturing and responsive care, meeting each child's physical and emotional needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and attend regular meetings to discuss curriculum, child development, and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education trends and techniques.


Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with infants/toddlers or young children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of infant development and early childhood education principles.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and sit on the floor to interact with children.
  • Must be able to respond quickly to emergency situations when necessary.
