Toddler Lead Teacher

Must be available 7:00 am-4:00 pm Monday-Friday
Starting pay-$18.00 per hour
$500 sign on bonus for vaccinated teachers (to be qualified for this, you have be within your six month period of being fully vaccinated, or if you are out of your six months, you need to have your booster vaccine).

- A Bachelors degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool.
- A Bachelors degree or higher in a related field1, including 18 semester hours of completed coursework, including 12 hours2 of completed coursework related to young children birth to age 8, and management experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool.
- An Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or a related field1 and 1 year of experience (1560 clock hours)2 working in a licensed childcare center or preschool and 1 year of management experience.
- An Associates degree or higher in a related field1, including 18 hours of completed coursework related to young children birth to age 8, and 2 years (3120 clock hours) 2 of experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool, and 1 year of management experience.
- A current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential, and an additional 12 semester hours or continuing education units in courses related to young children birth to age 8[1], and 2 years (3120 clock hours)[2] of experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool, and 1 year of management experience.
- Develop lesson plans.
- Meet the individual's needs of the children
- Communicate with parents.
- Participate in staff and training meetings.
- Design an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.
- Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
- Present expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level.
- Plan and implement activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.
- Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
- Build teamwork.
- Use assessment tools.
- Commit to continuing education.
