1. Child Supervision & Safety


  • Monitor toddlers at all times to ensure safety and well-being.

  • Assist with transitions between activities (e.g., arrival, meals, naps).

  • Maintain appropriate child-to-teacher ratios according to licensing rules.

  • Ensure a safe and clean environment, both indoors and outdoors.

2. Support with Daily Routines


  • Help with diapering, toilet training, handwashing, and hygiene routines.

  • Assist with dressing and undressing (e.g., for outdoor play or accidents).

  • Support toddlers during meals and snacks (e.g., setting up, feeding, cleaning up).

  • Provide comfort and consistency during nap/rest time.

3. Learning Through Play


  • Engage toddlers in developmentally appropriate activities like:

    • Storytime and songs

    • Art and sensory play

    • Simple puzzles and toys

    • Gross motor activities (e.g., dancing, climbing, ball play)

  • Support social, emotional, and language development through interaction and modeling.
