Job Summary
Under direction, through individual and group instruction, assists pupils to fulfill their capacities for mental, physical, emotional and social growth; uses teaching techniques appropriate to stimulate their abilities and interests; uses specialized materials, equipment and instructional procedures as necessary to meet the individual needs of blind or low-vision pupils

Desirable Qualifications: - Experience working with children with visual impairments age birth through 21 years of age - Experience working with children with severe disabilities - Teaching experience in general education programs, elementary or secondary - Ability to use Sign Language - Bilingual
