El Dorado County Office Of Education is seeking an additional Educational Specialist with an Orthopedic Impairment added authorization to join our itinerant teaching team.

In partnership with our schools and districts, our OI team provides specialized direct and consultative services to children and students ages 0-22 with specialized orthopedic needs. Our team also provides support and resources to IEP teams, school staff and our infant development program. We are dedicated to providing each and every student with meaningful and responsive services and are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Education Specialist with an Orthopedic Impairment added authorization to join our team.

Salary: $52,476.00 - $106,975.00 Annually

Location: Placerville, CA

Education:

BA degree

Valid CA Education Specialist credential

Orthopedic Impairment or Physical & Health Impairment authorization required or ability to obtain one

EL authorization

Experience:

One year in related teaching assignment

Work with students with handicaps preferred
