A full-time Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher opportunity is available for the K-12 school setting, serving students in grades 3 through 7. This onsite role involves providing specialized instruction and support to a caseload of six students, including three direct service recipients and three consultative cases, equating to a 0.1 full-time equivalent (FTE) consult load. The position operates under a contract for the school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored educational programs to students with hearing impairments in grades 3-7. Provide both direct instruction and consultative support to meet individual student needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and related service providers to promote student success. Utilize specialized strategies and resources to accommodate students hearing challenges in the classroom. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly. Participate in team meetings and professional development activities as required. Required Qualifications: Proven experience working with students who have hearing impairments. Ability and willingness to work onsite exclusively to provide hands-on support. Knowledge of educational techniques, resources, and assistive technologies relevant to the deaf and hard of hearing population.
