Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing Utilize specialized teaching methods and assistive technology to enhance learning Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech therapists, and support staff to promote inclusive education Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed Provide guidance and support to students families regarding educational goals and resources Qualifications: Certification or licensure in teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings Strong knowledge of assistive listening devices and hearing aid technology Ability to create an engaging, accessible classroom environment Excellent communication and collaboration skills Location: Denver, Colorado Duration: Contract through the current school year (CSY) This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the educational journey of students with hearing challenges.
