As a Music Teacher, you will have the opportunity to change lives through education by helping students develop skills in elementary general music and expand their talents into band, orchestra, choir, musical theater, music exploration, piano, and guitar programs. Your responsibilities include: Create a classroom environment that fosters learning, engages students' interests, and enables them to perform at their best. Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide students through activities promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth. Assess individual student needs and provide personalized support to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Master our curriculum and implement our educational philosophy to guide students toward achievement. Evaluate student progress and celebrate accomplishments. Encourage students to uphold our values and model good character both in and out of the classroom. Qualifications include: A bachelor's degree and a valid teaching certificate within the state of employment (alternative options available for those with only a bachelor's degree). Proven proficiency and experience in the subject area. Additional qualities we value: Positive energy that enhances school spirit. Ability to inspire, model values, and connect deeply with students, parents, and colleagues. Passion for teaching, helping others learn, and celebrating success. Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities outside normal hours. Physical ability to perform duties, including moving around campus and traveling as required.
