The Role

We are seeking dedicated teachers who show initiative and are committed to providing high quality teaching and engaging learning programs in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Suitable applicants will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong, positive relationships with students, parents and staff. Suitable applicants will successfully implement the Western Australian Curriculum, and where applicable, the Early Years Learning Framework and Kindergarten Curriculum Guidelines, providing meaningful learning opportunities with a strong focus on developing Literacy and Numeracy across all developmental phases of learning. They will ideally be able to effectively use and implement the InitiaLit Literacy program which is embedded in K-2, and the iSTAR explicit teaching instructional model (K-6) to advance student outcomes. A balanced approach of explicit teaching and intentional play-based learning is consistently used in the early years.
