A part-time opportunity is available for an experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to support K-12 students in a school setting. This role involves providing specialized instruction and services to students with visual impairments, catering to their unique educational needs during the school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized instructional plans tailored to students with visual impairments across K-12 grades. Manage a mixed caseload, adapting teaching strategies to diverse learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement effective educational goals. Conduct assessments and monitor student progress to adjust interventions as necessary. Provide on-site support and resources to facilitate student access to curriculum and learning materials. Qualifications: Certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired. Experience working with children and adolescents with visual impairments in an educational environment. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.
