Job Summary Develops curriculum and presents lessons in subject areas to children or adult clients of a state educational, rehabilitation, health care or correctional facility. Adapts teaching and instructional methods or uses specialized techniques to individualize instruction. Responsibilities include the following as addressed and measured by the Teacher Keys Effective System (TKES): Preferred Qualifications Possesses or is eligible to obtain Georgia Teacher Certification in the grade or content area of the prospective position.

Three years of experience teaching deaf/hard of hearing students

ASL proficiency at 3+ or above as measured by the American Sign Language Profiency Interview (ASLPI) or appropriate GSD staff.
