A full-time paraprofessional position is available to support an adult transition program serving students with multiple needs, primarily those on the autism spectrum. This role is based in Columbus, OH, and operates within a school setting under a contract arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated support to students with autism and other diverse needs within an adult transition program.
Assist in implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs) under the guidance of certified teachers.
Facilitate daily routines, instructional activities, and social skills development.
Monitor student progress and report observations to the teaching team.
Participate in required trainings before the start date to ensure compliance with school protocols and specialized instructional strategies.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience working with students with autism and multiple special needs preferred.
Background in supporting adult transition programs or similar educational settings is a plus.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Completion of mandated trainings prior to starting the position is required.
