As a Special Education Aide, you will be instrumental in implementing behavior support plans, collecting data on student progress, and working collaboratively to ensure each student receives the necessary support to thrive. Responsibilities: -Assisting the classroom teacher -Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material -Assist in compiling classroom communications -Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and a safe learning environment -Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed -Support with personal care or hygiene as needed, including toileting
Qualifications: -Minimum of 48 credits -Experience working with children with Special Educational needs -Experience working with personal care -US Work Authorization - Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time. -Applicants must have professional proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications: -Past work experience in a school -CPI Training Compensation & Benefits Pay: $19 - $21 per hour, paid weekly. Schedule: Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).
