Opportunities currently exist in the unclassified service with the Department of Law and Public Safety, Youth Justice Commission, for applicants who meet the requirements indicated below:

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Educational Programs or Assistant Supervisor of Educational Programs, plans, executes, and evaluates the lessons and educational experiences of the assigned pupils, class, or classes. Performs these duties by exercising independent judgment and having a comprehensive knowledge of department rules, regulations, and policies; does other related duties as required.

Education: Possession of a valid Standard Certificate issued by the State Board of Examiners of the New Jersey Department of Education authorizing instruction in the following subject areas: English, Math, any Science, Social Studies, Health/PE, Business, World Language, Art, ESL, Driver's ED, FCS, Music, Theater, Special Education, CTE. License: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.
