New Horizons Montessori Academy is hiring fun, dependable part-time Aftercare Teachers to join our Montessori team! This position is perfect for college students or individuals seeking experience in a nurturing school environment.

Position Summary:
Aftercare Teachers supervise and engage children during afternoon hours, ensuring a safe, caring, and relaxed environment. Activities are typically play-based and child-led.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain proper staff-to-student ratios
  
  
• Supervise and interact with children during play
  
  
• Assist infants/toddlers with hygiene and packing belongings
  
  
• Escort children to their parents at pickup and provide brief updates
  
  
• Close classrooms following end-of-day procedures
  
  
• Prioritize student safety and well-being
  
  

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM 5:30 PM
  
  
• $20.00 per hour

Requirements:

• 1+ years of childcare experience with children other than your own
  
  
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
  
  
• High School Diploma or GED
  
  
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
  
  
• Able to pass all required background checks: FBI fingerprinting, child abuse, criminal clearance
  
  
• Recent physical and TB tests
