Teachers Now is seeking highly motivated and dependable Substitute Teachers to provide essential classroom support in the absence of a paraprofessional or instructional aide. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to step into schools and help ensure a consistent, engaging learning environment for students.

$90–$120 per day
(Compensation is based on education and/or certification)

• Flexible Scheduling – Work Monday through Friday with full-day or half-day options

  • Full Day: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Half Day: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM or 11:30 PM – 4:00 PM

• Implement Lesson Plans – Deliver instruction based on the teacher’s provided materials

• Engage Students – Create a distraction-free environment and encourage participation

• Adapt to Student Needs – Maintain a safe, inclusive, and organized classroom

• Supervise Students – Monitor student activity in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias

• Assign & Review Work – Distribute classwork and homework aligned with the lesson plan

• Maintain Records – Track attendance and report any incidents to school staff

• Collaborate & Contribute – Support school-wide initiatives and assist in cross-team responsibilities

• Ensure Safety – Follow safety protocols to protect students, materials, and school property

• Long-Term Substitutes – Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards

• Associate Degree or 60+ college credit hours (required)

• Bachelor’s Degree or valid teaching certification (preferred, not required)

• At least 1 year of experience in childcare or educational settings

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

• Reliable transportation to assigned school sites
