We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our educational team in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for maintaining a positive learning environment and delivering lesson plans in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Key Responsibilities Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular teacher to ensure continuity of instruction. Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. Adapt to different grade levels and subjects as needed. Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, lunch, and other school functions as required. Report any incidents, attendance, and student progress to the appropriate school personnel. Collaborate with school staff to support student learning and well-being. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching license preferred. Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is a plus.
