Substitute Teacher


Cathedral Preschool in North Charleston, SC, is seeking a passionate Preschool Substitute Teacher to join our dedicated team. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for young minds to flourish. As a School Teacher at our esteemed preschool, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Join us in creating a positive impact on the lives of our students while enjoying a competitive salary of $18 - $19 hourly.

Compensation:

$18 - $19 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in implementing lesson plans and activities as directed by the lead teacher
  • Provide a safe and loving environment for preschool-aged children
  • Follow established classroom procedures and maintain a positive learning atmosphere
  • Support individual and group needs of children, including behavior management and conflict resolution
  • Communicate effectively with staff and parents to ensure continuity in the children's learning and development
Qualifications:
  • 6+ months of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and classroom environments
  • Understanding of basic classroom management techniques
  • Have availability to sub 2+ days a week
