Description

Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, making adjustments as necessary to accommodate the learning styles and needs of all students.
Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment, promoting positive behaviors and a culture of respect.
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback to the regular teacher upon their return.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.
Be prepared to teach across various grade levels and subjects as needed.
Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Indian Rocks Christian School in all interactions and teaching practices.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
Experience in teaching or substitute teaching at the elementary, middle, or high school level.
A commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of biblical principles in teaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work with students across different grade levels and subjects.
Certification by the State of Florida or ASCI Certification is a plus.
