Position: Substitute Teacher & Campus Support
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM-1:30 PM during the school year (August 18, 2025 - June 12, 2026), with optional teaching hours after 1:30 PM and on Fridays.
Pay Rate: $27.30/hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and welcoming professional to serve as our dedicated Substitute Teacher during the school year, with added responsibilities supporting campus operations during non-instructional times. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic school environment and enjoys supporting both students and staff.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the on-campus substitute teacher for grades 6-12, providing instructional support when staff are absent. Most classes are taught in a 1-on-1 environment either in-person or virtually.
- When not covering a class, manage campus support responsibilities including:
- Answering the video doorbell and greeting visitors
- Handling phone calls and deliveries
- Creating our campus newsletter
- Providing a consistent, warm presence for students and families
- Optional: Take on additional paid teaching hours after 1:30 PM or on Fridays in your subject of interest (based on need and availability).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience working with students in grades 6-12 preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with basic administrative and tech tasks.

Additional Information:
This is a part-time, in-person role during the school year. The compensation is $27.30/hour. This position is not eligible for full-time faculty benefits, but part-time employees are eligible for select benefits including paid holidays, sick time, 401(k) match, and commuter benefits.
