Substitute Teacher

Summary:
The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for providing temporary classroom instruction to students as needed. This position is located throughout Bethany Elementary, Middle and High Schools. Requires flexibility and adaptability to work in various classrooms and grade levels.

Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans and instructions left by the absent teacher
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Provide instruction using a variety of teaching methods and materials
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to the absent teacher
- Communicate with school staff and students as needed
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress

Requirements:
- Teaching certification preferred but not required. Must not have graduated high school within the last 4 years.
- Ability to work flexible hours between 7:30 and 3:00 pm, will sometimes be needed last minute
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Ability to follow lesson plans and provide effective instruction in various subject areas

- The ability to work Red Rover Mobile App on your phone is a required part of the job.
