The Substitute Teacher will be responsible for providing instruction to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. This is a substitute position, which means the employee will work on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver lesson plans provided by the absent teacher in a clear and concise manner
- Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment for students
- Address student behavior issues in accordance with school policies
- Keep accurate attendance records and submit them to the school office
- Communicate with school administrators and staff as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different teaching styles
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
