Substitute teaching opportunities available on an as-needed basis to assist Heartland AEA's Shelter Care Educational Program teachers in Des Moines at our Ellipsis Shelter and Polk County Juvenile Detention Center.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must be appropriately licensed by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners or possess an Iowa substitute teacher license. Candidates should be child-centered, patient, caring, have a positive attitude and have strong interpersonal skills. Pay rate: $27.33 per hour. (Open until filled)
