Substitute Teacher – Kansas City, Missouri - Frontier Schools Make a daily difference in Kansas City classrooms at Frontier Schools! Teachers Now is hiring dependable and motivated Substitute Teachers to serve Frontier Schools throughout Kansas City, Missouri. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support student learning, provide instructional continuity, and contribute to a positive and productive classroom environment when regular teachers are away. Compensation $110–$130 per day (Pay is based on your education level/long term assignments) What You’ll Do Lead classroom instruction using lesson plans provided by the teacher

Create a respectful and well-organized learning environment

Manage classroom behavior and encourage student participation

Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions

Assign and review classwork and homework aligned with learning goals

Record attendance and report concerns to school staff

Collaborate with school personnel to support academic and behavioral outcomes

For long-term roles, develop and deliver your own lesson plans in alignment with curriculum

Schedule Availability: Monday through Friday

Full Day: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Half Day: Between 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Depends on grade level - 4 hour shift)

Qualifications Minimum 60 college credit hours or an Associate’s Degree (required)

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

1 year of experience in a classroom or childcare setting (preferred)

Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Dependable transportation and consistent attendance
