Job Summary
The purpose of Substitute Teacher, Alternative Education is done for the purpose/s of providing academic instruction and supervising at risk students; documenting events and/or student activities for potential use in a court of law, ensuring compliance with drug, alcohol programs, court orders, etc. and processing new students in accordance with court/probation requirements.

Requirements / Qualifications
- Credential Copy (Copy of valid California Multiple or Single Subject teaching credential or valid Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit )
- Letter of Introduction (Letter is required to be specific to this position)
- Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) Letters of Recommendation are required and must be attached to your application. Both letters must be hand-signed by the author and must have a date on the letter that is within the last two years prior to the date your application is submitted. Letters without a hand-signature, letters that are electronically signed, and letters without a date or with a date more than 2 years old will not be accepted. One letter from a supervisor is preferred, but not required)
