Position Overview The Substitute Certified Autistic Support Teacher will play a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for students with autism. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting , following all school policies and Spur guidelines while ensuring student safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities Supervise students consistently during assigned hours. Develop and implement engaging enrichment lessons tailored to students’ needs. Lead students in structured and unstructured activities that promote learning and social development. Implement behavior management strategies in accordance with school policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and supportive learning environment. Collaborate with staff to support student progress and ensure individualized learning goals are met. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED (Required) Certified Autism Specialist Certification (or related certificate) Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance Pennsylvania Criminal History Background Check ($25.00) Pennsylvania FBI Fingerprinting Friendly, professional, and punctual demeanor. Prior experience working with children preferred. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs .
