Speech Language Pathologist in Grand Prairie, TX

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support elementary students in an engaging educational environment. This position offers a contract for the upcoming school year, providing a mix of on-site and remote work within a dynamic school setting located in the Fort Worth, TX area. Key responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 50 students, specifically those receiving speech therapy services. The SLP will conduct speech evaluations at the campus level and potentially assist with district-wide assessments, particularly for Spanish-speaking students if bilingual. The role also requires holding Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings focused solely on students receiving speech intervention. Work schedule consists of four days on-site with one day of remote work each week, maintaining consistent hours from 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. This schedule allows for valuable in-person interaction with students and educators, while providing flexibility for remote responsibilities. Qualifications and desired experience include: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting Ability to manage and balance a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly desirable due to evaluation needs Strong organizational and communication skills to facilitate ARD meetings and collaborate with staff This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students speech and language development within a supportive educational community.
