Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students with moderate to severe disabilities in an in-person classroom setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and structured learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs Provide direct instruction in academic, functional, and social-emotional skills Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families Utilize evidence-based strategies and assistive technology to support student learning Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with IDEA and district policies Create a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment Qualifications: Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Moderate/Severe (or eligibility) Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred) Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Professional development opportunities Supportive school community and leadership Opportunities for growth within the district Benefits
