Job Posting: Onsite Special Education Teacher Waverly, VA Area Position: Special Education Teacher Location: Waverly, VA Area Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite Grade Levels: Middle School (Grades 6-7) & High School (Grades 10-12) Caseload: 1517 Students Contract Term: 20252026 School Year Pay Rate: $33.50$45.50 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Company: Soliant Education Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a full-time onsite position in the Waverly, VA area. This is a contract opportunity for the 20252026 school year, with a manageable caseload and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents Provide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and documentation Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field Valid Virginia teaching license with Special Education endorsement, (Conditional licenses accepted!)
