The Special Education Teacher, under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.

Amergis Staffing is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support students with mild to moderate learning disabilities in school environments. In this role, you'll create individualized education plans (IEPs), adapt curriculum, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure student success.

What You'll Do:

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' unique learning needs Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to support diverse learning styles Provide direct instruction in core subjects while integrating specialized techniques Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create inclusive learning environments Encourage social and emotional development to foster student confidence

Qualifications We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred) Certification: Valid California teaching credential with Special Education endorsement Experience: Prior experience working with students with disabilities is beneficial Skills:

• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Patience, empathy, and adaptability
• Ability to implement behavioral intervention strategies
