Onward Search is partnering with a school district in Franklin County , Massachusetts to hire Special Education Teachers for the 2025–2026 school year.
Location: Franklin County, MA Start Date: August 29, 2025 End Date: June 16, 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday (specific hours based on school assignment) Grade Level: Openings across K–12 Hours: Full-time
Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to students with moderate or severe disabilities, following IEPs and tailored learning plans. Develop and implement effective classroom management strategies to support all learners. Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and parents to ensure student success. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including IEP goals, assessments, and progress reports. Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team collaboration sessions. Adapt and modify curriculum to meet diverse learning needs. Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Qualifications: Valid Massachusetts DESE license in Moderate Disabilities (PreK–8 or 5–12) or Severe Disabilities, OR ESL Certification Experience working with a diverse range of learners. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
