Job Posting: Onsite Special Education Teacher Olathe, KS Area Discipline: Special Education (SPED) School Year: 20252026 Start/End Dates: August 1, 2025 May 22, 2026 Hours: 37.5 hours per week Location: Onsite in the Olathe, KS area. This position will be placed at either a middle school or high school, depending on the candidates fit with existing teams. Caseload Details: Caseload and specific responsibilities will align with school site placement and candidate experience. More information will be provided during the screening process. Number of Positions Available: 1 Pay Rate (Hourly): $32$42 per hour (based on experience) Position Type: Onsite Contract Position with Soliant Education for the 20252026 school year Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families Provide direct instruction and academic support to students according to their IEPs Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-based team meetings Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners Requirements: Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred) Active Kansas teaching license with SPED endorsement Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work onsite and support the goals of the school team Benefits Offered Through Soliant Education: Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan Weekly pay How to Apply: Apply now to be considered for this opportunity.
